StudyAustralia is the official information site for international students to explore opportunities and learn about study in Australia including travel advice, visa requirements, where to live and work.
Curiosity feeds discovery
People of all ages are curious as to what career options are available to them. Career Matcher matches them to careers they may not have thought of or known about. Our experience is that many parents, the primary career influencers, often have limited knowledge of career choices and are not aware of careers their child could choose.
For students undecided about their future education, Career Matcher recommends careers that match their personality type. These are linked to a StudyAustralia course finder enabling students to personalise their selection of study location, type of education provider and the course best matching their career goals. Planning on an engineering or technology course
With large numbers of international students arriving in Australia to study engineering and technology, two reports are included to assist students choose their options. Reports were developed in collaboration with CSIRO Education and with Engineering consulting firms. View Technology or Engineering career recommendations.
Seamless experience
The Career Matcher app is located on StudyAustralia website so the user experience is seamless. International students can download their Career Matcher report immediately on completion and as back-up, a copy is emailed to them.
The user data collected is added to a future student database enabling StudyAustralia to reach out and provide the latest information on travel and study in Australia. With a number of financial and support assistance packages available to international students, having a direct contact improves the information flow.
